Back Home

After a short weekend at my parents I'm now waiting for the train that will take me back to Gothenburg. I've been here in Stockholm for a crayfish dinner party with my relatives. It was a bit boring, I don't really have anything in common with them and they ate quiet uptight. But the food was tasty at least, though I didn't eat any crayfishes.

It will be a bit empty coming home tonight. My cats are staying in Stockholm since I'm probably be moving away from Gothenburg soon. I will miss them a lot!

2 Years

24th August 2012. That was the day I passed my drivers exam and got my drivers licence. It was a huge day for me, it was such a huge relief when I got to hear the words that I passed. I remember running over to Linnéa in pure joy.

Two years have passed, which means that the trail period for my licence is over. Now I can't lose my licence as easy as before, which is a nice relief as well.

Went driving today, my brother wanted a ride to one of his friends. The rain was pouring down and I almost drowned in the car on my way back. But it all went fine and I sang loudly while driving.

Sometimes it feels like the time is flying away, but today I feel quiet the opposite. It is hard to imagine that two years have passed since that very sunny day in Kista, I have done so much in those years. Driving, moving, studying and much much more. It feels nice not feeling like the time has just passed in a blink of an eye, it is nice knowing that I've done things.

Early Birthday

I got an early birthday present today, the new IKEA catalouge. Going to read it tonight, in my IKEA-sofa, while the rain is falling outside. But before I'm allowing myself this gift I have to do laundry, sent some application for internships and make some animations. 

I Smell Pee

Today started after four hours of sleep and with pee on my clothes. I had laid some clothes in a pile on the bathroom floor and Selma had used them as a toilet. Can't be made on her, I know not to leave clothes near the litterbox. Bad timing though, since I was supposed to have some friends over. But since my whole apartment is drowning in pee stink I just had to cancel it. I was a bit lucky though, just as I got home I was able to get a time to do laundry.

Stormy Weather

When riding my bike back home from school I seriously thought this was the wrong day for a bike. The rain was like needles in my face, I could barely keep one eye open to see the road ahead. And add to that a wicked wind that almost succeeded in making me fly away, which is quiet scary when you're on a bridge far above the water. But I survived and rewarded myself with a warm shower.

It feels a bit early for autumn, but I guess it is time to go fetch for my warmer jackets.

A Monday

So today has been one of those really busy Mondays, which I actually like. Mondays are very important for me, if I don't get them right it will destroy the whole week.

So at seven I had to quick out Erik and get to school. It was great seeing all my classmates and getting started again. After buying cat food on the way home I had some time for myself before staring to make vanilla buns for the game evening that took place in my kitchen. The games were great, the company was funny and the buns were delicious.

At nine we left my place to go out for dinner. The restaurant we went to is one that our friend works at and also a place I saw when I just had moved in here and wanted to go to. It was also that friends birthday, so before parting at the tram stop we quietly sang happy birthday to her.

Just a great day that had given me lots of laughs and hopes. Now it is time for bed, a busy morning awaits me before even getting to school. A to-do-list has been written and placed by the computer, just like Linnéa once taught me.

Back to school

Today's little castle, WIP might I add

First day in school and back to Maya. It is very confusing going back to Maya after a year with 3ds Max, I suddenly feel like a beginner again. Everything is backwards and upside-down, very frustrating.

Almost everyone in the class are feeling the same, so I don't have to feel alone during this first week before i start to understand everything again. 

Sleepover

Tasty tasty kladdkaka

My old classmate and friend Erik came by yesterday and spent the night. I made him some kladdkaka and he made some tasty tortilla dinner for us. My tummy was ready to explode when I finally admitted myself defeated by all the tastiness. We started to watch "House of Cards" and I think we are both hooked now.

After some sleep I sadly had to throw out my friend, since I had to go back to school and he had a bus to catch. Though the visit was short it was a nice one, it feels great having people over.

Visits

I have had a lot of visitors these past few weeks. It has been really nice, not only for the company bit also since it has forced me to keep my apartment clean. I like having a clean home, but can sometimes have a hard time motivating myself into actually cleaning up the few messes.

Today Signe and her sister will come by for vegan dinner and boardgames. On Friday I'll have a friend sleeping over. And I'm hoping that Thomas might come down for another visit next weekend.

Okay, enough writing, time to get started. Vacuuming, cleaning windows, fur removal and bathroom cleaning is on my to do list before going grocery shopping.

Stitches

Milky and I have just been at the vet to remove his stitches. It took a little while, but Milky was behaving good. He will still be wearing his collar for a few more days. And we will also have to wait a few days for the test result. We have had the lump tested before, so I am not worried about the result from the biopsy.
